Hello, my name is Jack. I am currently saving to get my first professional binder, and I thought I'd put it out there on here, also, I know that a lot of you don't have very good resources, and it seems hard to find good information for us out there, so I thought I would post some links to the resources I, myself, have gathered. Hopefully this can help all my fellow FTMs to bind properly and avoid hurting themselves.
First, there's Transguys,
[link]This link is about how to Chest Bind safely, it has videos about the dangers of improper binding, and a list of resources for proper binders, also, help with how to put a binder on, and the like.
The second is a page on LiveJournal, called FTM Garage sale.
[link]This link has a group of people trading/selling/giving away things that every FTM needs at some point except Hormones. This is more for...if you've lost weight, and you want to trade your binder for a smaller one with someone who's gained, or maybe if you get Top surgery, and you don't need your binder anymore.
The third, CheckItOutGuys, is about something else,
[link]This is about how important it is to still get those ...feminine exams we all hate so much.
This one, Susan's place, is just a blog with information,
[link]A place like this club, where you can talk.
This fifth, and final one, is about the changes to the Standards of Care for Trans people.
[link]Well, I hope you all find this very helpful, and if anyone wants to donate money to my Binder fund, just comment. Anything else you need, I may be able to help, so again, just comment. *smiles*
-Jack
