It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Ok let me strat off by saying Im bisexual. And I really want to tell one of my best friends but...I really dont know how to. We have been friends sence we were 7 and I really dont want to lose her if I do tell her and she reacts badly. I dont want to lose anybody...oh god she almost found out today when she asked if she looks sexy in one of my hats (which she did). Its not that Im ashamed. Im just terrorfied. I still remember like 5 months ago another one of my friends and I were talking about how if we were gay, who would we go out with. And she began saying how just weird it would be if one of us was gay. It doesnt help that Im a total loser in my school.(Im not very good with people, even though I can make friends fast). It also doesnt help that I would be just about the ONLY bisexual in my part of town. Im seroius. Theres like only 3 people here that are homosexual.

So Im just wondering...If you are homo/bi/pan/transexual(sorry I only know a couple), how did you tell you loved ones? If your sraight, how would you tell you loved ones?

Please answer, I really dont know who else to turn to.
